Police release CCTV of 83-year-old dog walker stabbed to death

Detective Superintendent Andy Smith said: "We have already heard from more than 220 people but we will be exploring all avenues in our enquiries and we are still keen to hear from more".

CCTV of Peter at Keninnghall Post Office at 10.08am to 10.12am on Saturday 5th.

Wearing a black t-shirt and grey pants, footage released by Norfolk Constabulary shows him walking slowly towards the till to buy a few small items before heading on his way.

A witness went to police saying that two elderly men had been seen arguing in the woodland shortly before Mr Wrighton was killed, the Daily Mail reported.

83 year old Peter Wrighton, from Banham, was found dead in woodland near East Harling last Saturday morning.

The first is described as a slim white male over 50, with pale skin and grey or white hair and balding on top. It is believed he was wearing heavy rimmed glasses and light coloured pants.

"White man with a tanned complexion, aged 25-30 years, between 5'9" and 5'11" tall.

The third man is described as a white male, aged 30 to 50, of medium build, who wore dark-coloured clothing and was seen walking without a dog in the northern area of the heath. He then drove his red Skoda 4.5 miles to The Street, close to the area where he walked his dogs. We have received more than 100 calls in the last three days and we would continue to urge people with information, particularly those who were in the area between 9am and 11m, to make contact. When we think of Peter we remember him with with fond and happy memories that will stay with us always'.

"We need to speak to anyone who has recently visited or frequents the area where the body was found".
