Retired U.S. Marine Corps Gen. John F. Kelly starts his first day as President Donald Trump's chief of staff Monday.
Scaramucci later took a page from the president's playbook and used Twitter to make accusations.
Mr Scaramucci's colourful turn of phrase appears to have been accusing Mr Priebus of obstructing his success in Mr Trump's White House administration.
Michael Flynn - Trump's national security adviser, Michael Flynn, resigned in February after revelations that he had discussed us sanctions on Russia with the Russian ambassador to the United States before Trump took office and misled Vice President Mike Pence about the conversations. "I want to congratulate John Kelly, who has done an incredible job of secretary of homeland security", the president said.
Trump is calling Kelly "a true star" of the administration. I would like to thank Reince Priebus for his service and dedication to his country.
Michael Dubke - Founder of Crossroads Media, resigned as White House Communications director in May.
Sean Spicer - resigned as White House press secretary last week, ending a turbulent tenure after Trump named Anthony Scaramucci as the new White House communications director.
Priebus was also subjected to profane public rebuke by Scaramucci. "A President has a right to hit a reset button. I think this is good for the President".
Priebus expressed no bitterness about his removal.

Several YouTube channels showing the video have received thousands of views and the video also made worldwide news Sunday. Shortly after ingesting the liquid, Acevedo began complaining about his heart.
Todd Ricketts - a co-owner of the Chicago Cubs baseball team and Trump's choice for deputy secretary of commerce, withdrew from consideration in April.
The CNN report said that Priebus lacked strong support from key members of Trump's inner circle.
Trump tweeted: "I am pleased to inform you that I have just named General/Secretary John F Kelly as White House Chief of Staff".
"General Kelly is a brilliant pick. So this is not like a situation where there are a bunch of ill will feelings".
Trump has picked Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly as his new chief of staff.
Kelly is a retired Marine general, formerly commanded the United States Southern Command. He also worked as a legislative liaison to Congress and served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. While it's hard to imagine how Trump could be "more Trumpian" than he has been in the first six months in the White House, you can bet that is exactly what he plans to be going forward.
Priebus and Spicer had told the president they believed Scaramucci, a gregarious hedge fund manager and fund-raiser, lacked the political experience and organizational skills required to serve in the role of communications director.
The Priebus firing proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Trump's attempts to merge his NY and family worlds with the staider environment of official Washington had failed miserably - and that he has clearly sided with those urging him to be more himself over those who had hoped to bend him somewhat to the ways of the nation's capital.
