Flacco out with back injury; Ravens may bring in Kaepernick

28 Juillet 2017

According to multiple reports, the Ravens are signing former Clemons and Stanford quarterback David Olson, who most recently placed with the Kansas City Phantoms of the Champions Indoor Football League.

Kaepernick has been a free agent since opting out of his contract with the San Francisco 49ers in March.

Head Coach John Harbaugh admitted as much Thursday, speaking after a training camp practice where he had just two healthy quarterbacks.

Colin Kaepernick is reportedly on the Baltimore Ravens radar after it was revealed that their starting quarterback Joe Flacco could miss 3 to 6 weeks due to a back issue, ESPN reports. However, if Flacco's back injury lingers into the regular season impacting his ability to play, Kaepernick likely becomes a more realistic and logical option at that point. And we talked and then got to know him very well when he scrimmaged here.

He told BBC Radio 4's Today programme: "Dublin really needs to understand that that proposition is absurd and unconstitutional". This is important as the DUP are now partners with May's Conservative government in a confidence and supply deal in Westminster.

"He and I have been talking throughout the summer a number of times". I like history and politics too, and we've had some debates, and it's been fun. "He's a guy right now that's being talked about", Harbaugh said of Kaepernick, per Conor Orr of NFL.com.

Ryan Mallett and Dustin Vaughn are the only other quarterbacks on the roster and combined for just six pass attempts last season. They're saying that should take care of it.

The Ravens have ties with Kaepernick, who played in San Francisco under John's brother Jim Harbaugh.
