Mahesh has been shooting for Spyder since last July as Murugadoss is taking his own sweet time to complete 'his most ambitious project.' The production of Spyder has reportedly taken more time than expected affecting Mahesh's other film commitments. The movie is being planned for 27th September Release as Dussehra Special. The makers of SPYder have chose to release an action packed teaser on August 9th coinciding with Mahesh Babu's birthday.
Recently, the teaser of the movie was also released and since then the fans have been curious about the movie. The first look of the movie looks awesome. The director's brand value and Mahesh's charisma could have been sufficient to recover this huge investment but the film's high-tech genre may prove a deterrent to the film's prospects in B, C centres.
Some trade experts believe that not the makers but Mahesh Babu took a huge risk with this deal.

In this film, the Hulk refuses to turn back into Bruce Banner, but he is learning to speak, albeit slowly. Opening February 16, 2018, Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa, with Michael B.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, Spyder featuring the handsome hunk Mahesh Babu in lead role is one of the most awaited films in South. There's a good blend of the global look with Indian localization. It is now in post production.
What makes this project interesting and has the audience rooting for it is the combination of the Mahesh Babu and Murugadoss. In the film, Mahesh plays an intelligence bureau officer and he has apparently performed stunts sans body doubles. We'll just have to wait till the film's release on September 27th.
