Rangers, Mika Zibanejad agree to deal

26 Juillet 2017

Mika Zibanejad has agreed to a five-year contract with the Rangers worth an average annual value of $5.35 million.

The agreement ensures that both parties avoid an arbitration hearing, which was scheduled for 9 a.m. this morning.

The 24-year-old forward is coming off his first season as a member of the Rangers, and it was a productive one. He added two goals and seven assists for a team-high nine points in 12 playoff games.
