Man Convicted Of Killing 5-Year-Old Stepdaughter Who Interrupted His Nap

21 Juillet 2017

A MI man charged in the gruesome death of his 5-year-old stepdaughter flew into a rage after the child said she wanted something to eat because "it wasn't dinner time", it was revealed Thursday.

Shortly after firefighters found Luna's burned body in the apartment McClellan shared with the girl's mother, Victoria King, McClellan turned himself in to police, telling officials that he killed the girl around 5pm, after she gave him "attitude".

During the interview, McClellan told the detective how a short time before the November 1, 2016, slaying, he spent part of the day arguing with Luna's mother, Victoria King, whom he married three months prior.

"What was so terrible about Luna today that you had to kill her?"

A long silence ensued, prompting Buckland to say: "I don't wanna guess something, Tom".

McClellan said he was at the family's Keller Road home with Luna while King was at work when Luna knocked on his bedroom door at around 5 p.m., waking him up from a nap. What'd she do, Tom?'

The court heard that McClellan "did not run out of his room bloody, scared or panicked" or call 911 after stabbing the girl, according to Assistant Ingham County Prosecutor Elizabeth Allen.

Morgan Stanley set a €102.00 ($117.24) price objective on SAP SE and gave the company a buy rating in a research note on Monday. This repurchase authorization authorizes the software maker to repurchase shares of its stock through open market purchases.

McClellan finally responded: "I told her it wasn't dinner time".

The kindergartner told her stepfather she was hungry, and when he tried to make her leave, she sat down and wouldn't budge, he said. It tipped me over the edge.

When the little girl pressed Holt to feed her, he grabbed her by the shoulder, threw her onto the floor, sat on top of her, pulled out pocket knife and stabbed her chest at least five times.

"She cried, and she coughed", McClellan replied.

Ingham County Circuit Judge Joyce Draganchuk found Thomas McClellan guilty of first-degree murder, first-degree child abuse and first-degree arson in the killing of Luna Younger, the Lansing State Journal reported.

He later piled blankets and paper towels on her body, then doused the pile in vodka and set it on fire.
