Destiny 2 Beta Based Off A Build That's "Months Old"

Bungie explained that the beta represents an earlier build of Destiny 2, which had to be segmented off from the main game and is indicative of where Destiny 2 was months ago.

The lacking Power Ammo, which is used for weapons like Fusion Rifles, Shotguns and Sniper Rifles in addition to Rocket Launchers and Grenade Launchers, also wasn't received favourably.

As we can see in the video published at the end of this article, the Destiny 2 beta on Xbox One S displayed the title very well, with slight differences that would require in-depth analysis but at the first glance reveal the good work that Bungie has done to create a seamless experience across all platforms.

When opening the beta for players of Xbox One, comparisons were soon to appear and a YouTube channel was given the task of comparing the performance of the title on PS4 Pro and Xbox One S.

"We built a system that guarantees power ammo drops for you and your Fireteam from certain enemies, giving power weapons a more reliable and predictable role in your arsenal."

Destiny 2's beta will be open today for all players on PS4 and Xbox One while the full game arrives on September 6th for consoles.
