20/20 digging into OJ Simpson parole hearing in Nevada

15 Juillet 2017

Roberts says numerous people she spoke with, including a retired prison guard, say Simpson has been a leader behind bars and should be paroled.

The episode sees correspondent Deborah Roberts talking to one of the fallen football legend's accomplices Michael McClinton at the Las Vegas hotel where they carried out an armed robbery against memorabilia dealers.

Simpson has served almost nine years in prison following the armed robbery at the Palace Station hotel-casino in Las Vegas in September 2007.

It saw him and a string of accomplices break into a room at gunpoint and steal various O.J. Simpson collectibles from dealers Bruce Fromong and Alfred Beardsley. This arrest, of course, was for the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.

Also interviewed are Simpson's fellow accomplices Clarence "CJ" Stewart, who served time with him, and Walter Alexander, who along with McClinton testified against him.

Posey's hit fell just in front of a diving Blash in right field to bring around Brandon Belt after he reached on a two-out single. It's the second time this season he's been bothered by blister symptoms, but he didn't skip a turn on the first occasion.

"I looked at OJ and I said "what if they call the police" and he looked at me and used a four-letter-word that starts with f and ends with k the police".

If Simpson's parole is approved, he could be free as early as October.

If it is denied, Simpson would have to wait another four years to apply for parole again.

Roberts told Inside Edition the men who were with Simpson that night believe he has a 50/50 chance of going free and that if he was a "regular guy", he would be freed.
