Ramdas Athawale wants quota for Dalits and tribals in cricket

03 Juillet 2017

(Web Desk) - Indian social justice and empowerment minister has alleged skipper Virat Kohli, senior player Yuvraj Singh and the team of fixing the final match of Champions Trophy 2017 last Sunday. He now wants reservations for Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribe cricketers in the Indian cricket team. Asserting that Dalit sports personnel should get fair opportunities in the field of sports, the Union Minister said he will move ahead with his demand. Athawale was in the city soon after attending a midnight Parliament session to usher in Goods and Services Tax (GST) in New Delhi.

"India had earlier in the tournament defeating the same Pakistani team". He also called for a probe into India's performance in the finals of the recently concluded Champions Trophy against arch-rivals Pakistan as it appeared to be "fixed". "The BCCI should investigate the matter and clear all doubts".

Eurogamer reports that at a number of points in the video, you can see that button prompts have been overlaid with PS4 inputs. Weeks later, the PlayStation YouTube channel has uploaded what looks like the same video with some botched editing.

"There is no harm in giving a 25% reservation to these two categories", he said, and added that this could encourage players from the two sections to do even better when they get a chance to play at the national and worldwide level. "Cow slaughter ban to respect sentiments of Hindus is fine, but there is need to amend the law". Old and useless bulls and cows are a liability to farmers, who make some money selling them to those who make living on their hides. "Also, the manslaughter by gaurakshaks should not be allowed to go on", said Athawale.

Athawale praised GST as the best thing that could happen in the country. "This is a demand of my party". "I will also meet Fadnavis and Union minister Nitin Gadkari and appeal to them to help create the separate state", Athawale said.
