Gas Prices Drop 3.8 Cents In Chattanooga

Average retail gasoline prices in Chattanooga have fallen 3.8 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $1.90 per gallon on Sunday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 170 gas outlets in Chattanooga.

The easing of gas prices in Roseville continues into late June as Placer County travel costs decline.

The national average has tumbled nearly 3 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.25.

Including the change in gas prices in Wyoming during the past week, prices yesterday were 2.5 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 4.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.

A year ago at this time, the price of gas in Rhode Island was averaging just about the same, at $2.29 per gallon.

San Antonio- $1.99/g, down 5.2 cents per gallon from last week's $2.04/g.

The average price of gasoline in the Houston area has fallen to $2.09 a gallon, GasBuddy.com says. "It's fantastic we're staring at some of the cheapest prices of the year as the holiday comes into view", DeHaan said.
