A 7th generation Intel i7 processor is onboard as well with leverage for overclocking courtesy of the machine's "advanced thermals". If users opt for the Radeon GPU, they can get a 60Hz 1080P panel with AMD FreeSync too. As with most laptops, the RAM and storage options can also be user upgraded. As such, your existing PC must have a Thunderbolt 3 over USB Type-C port for the Omen GPU dock to work.
The Omen Desktop is available starting June 6. The Accelerator will come pre-configured with either an AMD or Nvidia graphics card and a 2.5-inch 1TB hard drive or 256GB solid state drive, along with a 500W power supply.
The Accelerator features USB Type-C and Type-A connectivity, along with HDMI and Ethernet ports.
The top shelf Omen 15 Laptop should be a decent performer thanks to an Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU and Max-Q-ready GTX 1060 graphics. This is a plug-in device for any machine with a Thunderbolt 3 port. That device arrives in August of 2017.
