Draymond Green gets in the mix in Game 4 against Cavs

13 Juin 2017

The Cleveland Cavaliers came out playing with force in Game 4, playing with passion inspired in part by Draymond Green.

When Quicken Loans Arena thought that Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green was ejected in Game 4, the Cleveland Cavaliers faithful was ecstatic.

Game Four of these NBA Finals was a clear triumph for the Cleveland Cavaliers, chaos and conspiracy freaks, and a momentary defeat for the Golden State Warriors, historical inevitability and the league's judgment on official selection.

Green was also central to the most confusing officiating incident of the post-season, one that led to National Basketball Association officials Mike Callahan and John Goble publicly accepting the blame for one of the more freaky moments in Game 4 of the series.

Green is once again enemy No. 1 in Cleveland.

Video surfaced of a fan engaging in a verbal exchange with Green's mother, Mary Babers-Green, after the Warriors' Game 3 victory Wednesday. They played a tremendous game.

Callahan: "We found out at the same time when we called the first technical foul (6:18, 3rd) on Draymond Green". Upset. You've got to get off the court. What did you think was going to happen? Unlike past year, the Warriors will head into Game 5, another potential closeout, with their gritty forward available. Green stayed in the game, which led to boos everytime he touched the ball.

On its Facebook page, the business says, "We truly love The Land and our sports teams as much as we love ice cream!" At least if I'm going to get 'em, let me earn them. And look, he hasn't lost any of the intensity and he hasn't lost his edge.

Who are the Northern Ireland Unionists, the UK's new kingmakers?
He acknowledged that the government would be unable to get numerous measures promised in its election platform through Parliament. With the DUP providing the Conservatives a narrow, but crucial, majority in Parliament, it could have an outsized influence.

But our favorite dig might be the one they wrote back on May 31.

"I didn't get one", Green said. So shout-out to them.

"Pretty sure our spoons are sharper than Draymond Green", the store wrote on its sign outside.

"We know that champions don't die".

"Yeah, they're fine", Green said about the incident. "So if they didn't call it (ejecting Pachulia), then I guess it wasn't anything".

But that was in Cleveland. "With a coach or trainer, we just verbalize and at that time we should listen to the PA announcer to who it is on", Callahan said. He said he knew all along the first tech wasn't on him.

"You can make a sandwich before somebody even gets out there", Durant said of how it seemed in Game 4. It's never one thing.

"Last year is last year, this year is this year", Kerr echoed.
