12 Juin 2017

The company, which today rolled out all-new Street Triple S in the country priced at Rs 8.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), sells 16 models across five different categories in India with only 20 per cent of them assembled at its Manesar plant. But the bug-shaped dual headlamp setup remains unchanged.

The 2017 Triumph Street Triple S is offered in two colour schemes - Diable Red and Phantom Black.

The 2017 Street Triple S features new inner and outer radiator cowls, new rear body panel and updated front and rear mudguard.

Her soul was AWOL already but this particular deal with Norn Ireland Hillbillies the DUP surely condemns that soul if it ever should turn up.

The new Street Triple S is powered by a 765 cc, three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which churns out 110 bhp of power when mated to a six-speed gearbox. The company claims that the new version has over 80 new parts including new crank, pistons and Nikasil plated aluminium barrels with increased bore and stroke. Up front the motorcycle gets upside down forks and preload adjustable mono shock at the rear. The split step up seats on the new Street Triple 765 S adds to the sporty character of this motorcycle. The motorcycle also gets lightweight gullwing swingarm.

In terms of features, the Street Triple 765 is offered with an LCD instrument cluster which displays riding modes, odometer, fuel gauge, trip meter and distance to empty. The more powerful R and RS versions will carry the same engine, albeit with a higher power output and will be introduced later this year. Triumph also offers traction control on the new Street Triple, while dual-channel ABS is offered as standard and can not be switched off. But the top-of-the-range RS model will be a fitting rival loaded with features. The bookings for the Street Triple S is open, and the deliveries will commence in the following days.
