Arsene Wenger was happy with Alexis Sanchez's display as Arsenal beat Southampton - but admits he has a problem choosing between his two main strikers.
Arsenal's Olivier Giroud, left, celebrates scoring his side's second goal with Aaron Ramsey during the English Premier League soccer match between Southampton and Arsenal at St Mary's stadium in Southampton, England, Wednesday, May 10, 2017.
The Gunners are also three points away from Manchester City, with both of them having three games to play.
"Overall it was a very convincing win", he told Sky Sports.
"The goal he scored tonight shows what he's about: very good technique in a short space", he added. Once he has the ball in the box, he's risky.
"I am very pleased because we had a consistent performance from the first to the last minute", said Wenger.
Under-fire Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has constantly reiterated his side can not put a foot wrong in their remaining games, and they were solid enough to take home victory from the south coast to keep them in the hunt for Champions League qualification. One moment, when the forward instinctively swivelled to flick the ball into the path of the onrushing Ozil, was probably the Gunners' best piece of attacking interplay in the first half, although the Germany star was denied by a fine last-ditch tackle from the youngster Stephens.
"He's got a small chance, he was not far [away from returning], practiced [on Tuesday] but was risky to play him [at Southampton]", Wenger said.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain went off injured in the first half and Wenger said: "We don't know how bad it is".
"That's Alexis", Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said. We came to a hard ground today and we go to another on Saturday.
"Maybe the FA Cup semi-final win against Manchester City gave us confidence but we can't get ahead of ourselves and go too quickly".
"We had a big game against [Manchester] United (a 2-0 win) and then here, where historically we haven't done that well in the league".
Sanchez netted his 20th goal of the season.
"We had a few opportunities and luckily we scored two".
Requiring Sanchez to put speculation over his future to one side in those games, Wenger hailed the Chilean star after a pivotal performance on the south coast.
With six minutes left, Arsenal made sure of the points when Sanchez and Ramsey combined to set up Giroud, who had the relatively simple task of heading home from close range.
