Some Galaxy S8 Owners Reporting Red Tint On Their Screens

21 Avril 2017

Samsung Galaxy S8 will be released in the United States for $720 starting Friday, April 21, while those in the United Kingdom can purchase the device for £689. Local brokerage firms have been estimating sales of the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus could reach around 43-60 million units. Though the two smartphones will be up for pre-orders at 12 noon on April 19, 2017.

Samsung says the S8 is not faulty. With no formidable rival in sight, the Galaxy S8 should have no problems attracting customers in South Korea as well as other major markets around the world, at least until Apple releases its new iPhones in September. An industry analyst pointed out Samsung utilizes the deep red technology to achieve color balance on their devices. There are additional sensors on the front for iris-scanning.

The handset also houses a 16 MP camera with phase detection autofocus, dual-LED or dual-tone flash and high-definition recording. Samsung is counting onto this smartphone in order to come out of the Note 7 fiasco from past year. The phones are IP68 water and dust resistant, MicroSD support up to 256GB, always-on display and have fast and wireless charging capabilities.

Samsung has so much faith in the AI that it added a dedicated button on the left side of the handset to active it. Admittedly, most of the material you'll be watching is shot in 16:9, which means the full width of the screen gets wasted. It will likely have the admired Infinity Display at the front, and the set-up of the S8's canceled model. Due to technical problems and lack of time to complete its development, Samsung had no choice but to put it in an awkward position at the back.
