Samsung has also been praised for its Infinity Display on the Galaxy S8, and the screen itself melts towards the side and gives a great first impression of a wraparound panel. As far as protection is concerned, one can only assume that the Galaxy S8's IP68 certification will remain on the handset, but it will most likely arrive with a beefier shell that will protect it from drops.

The AT&T Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is now being built under the model number: SM-G892A codenamed Cruiser. AT&T has been offering the Active versions of Galaxy S flagships for years and this year is expected to be no different.

Although there were doubts about Samsung releasing the Galaxy S8 Active this time around, a report from SamMobile claimed that the device indeed exists.

Active variants of Samsung Galaxy S flagships usually have larger batteries, and codenaming it Cruiser, the company is hoping that the battery life would be longer. Both models, available in five colours, are water, dust-resistant and support wireless charging. Along with Samsung Pay, the new phones come with context reading virtual assistant Bixby which the company feels is better than Siri, Google Assistant and others like Cortana from Microsoft. More ruggedness also means extra bulk, however, so don't expect the Galaxy S8 Active to look as sleek as the Galaxy S8.

His confidence has been bolstered by reaching the finals of three tournaments so far in 2017, in Melbourne, Acapulco and Miami. I like the clay. "I hope this year I can do the same [by] having fun, practicing well and walking around this handsome place".

Samsung said in a statement that the key features on its Galaxy S8, such as Reminder, Home and Vision can already be accessed by tech fans together with the improved reality on the handset's camera app.

It also appears that for now, the Galaxy S8 Active will remain as an exclusive to AT&T which is pretty standard as we have seen in the past, and it doesn't look like it will be changing anytime soon.

Galaxy S8 is a crucial launch for the company given its Note 7 never went on sale in India.
