Giant alligator strolls past tourists without a care in the world

The Circle B-Bar reserve is an area of protected lands on the northwest shore of Lake Hancock. Other videos have since surfaced of the same Buffalo Creek giant alligator that now goes by the name Chubbs, and even Snopes verified that the alligator is real.

It may be nature at its best, but visitors should be cautious and stay a safe distance away from the animals. The alligator got its nickname because of his huge, curved back. The alligator appears to be as tall as a pit bull or medium-sized German Shepherd. The video was first shared by Joiner on his personal Facebook page reaching nearly 20,000 shares a few hours after the publication. She estimated the gator to be at least 12 feet long. This explains the immediate reaction of some persons when saying that the video was a complete scam, as the alligator seemed excessively big.

Kristi Buckley was also there, snapping pictures just feet from the massive gator.

The alligator has been nicknamed Humpback. "It looks like a dinosaur", News 6 anchor Justin Warmoth said. Social media users having been comparing it to "dinosaur" and "Godzilla". Previous year an even bigger alligator was seen strolling across a golf course in Palmetto.

While some have doubted Humpback's existence, Joiner insists the gator is real.
